The ReadiScore ranges from 0 to 100 and typically falls between 70 and 100. A higher score is associated with lower fatigue levels and reduced fatigue-related risk.
Important: The ReadiScore is a score, not a percentage.
How the ReadiScore Is Calculated
How the ReadiScore Is Calculated
The ReadiScore is calculated using the SAFTE biomathematical fatigue model (Sleep, Activity, Fatigue, and Task Effectiveness). This model uses a person’s sleep and wake timeline to estimate their alertness and effectiveness minute by minute.
The system can use three sources of sleep data for this calculation:
1. Manually Edited Sleep
Sleep data is classified as Manual when at least one minute of sleep has been manually added or edited.
The model analyzes several previous sleep periods. If any period included in the analysis contains manually added or edited data, the entire dataset used to calculate the ReadiScore will be classified as Manual, even if it also includes data recorded by the device.
2. Sleep Recorded by the Device
If no data has been added manually, the system reviews the last 72 hours of continuous device use. This period must include valid sleep data.
When these requirements are met, the SAFTE model calculates the ReadiScore using sleep data recorded directly by the device.
3. Sleep Estimated by ReadiML
When there is not enough sleep data recorded by the device, the system uses ReadiML to estimate when and how long the person will sleep.
This estimate may consider information such as:
The person’s shift schedule.
Their individual or group sleep profile.
Their previous and upcoming shifts.
Their questionnaire responses.
Available demographic information.
Once sleep has been estimated, the SAFTE model uses it to calculate the ReadiScore in the same way it would use recorded sleep data.
Identify Where the ReadiScore Is Missing
Before troubleshooting, determine which platforms display the ReadiScore.
Missing from ReadiWatch but Visible on Other Platforms
If the ReadiScore appears in ReadiOne, ReadiSupervise, and the web application, the issue is likely related to synchronization.
Refer to the Sync Troubleshooting article.
Missing from ReadiOne or ReadiSupervise but Visible in the Web Application
This may indicate a connection or application issue:
Confirm that the device has a stable internet connection.
Verify that the application is up to date.
Sign out and then sign back in.
If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall the application.
Missing from All Platforms
If the ReadiScore does not appear on ReadiWatch, ReadiOne, ReadiSupervise, or the web application, confirm that enough sleep data is available to calculate it
If there is insufficient data, the ReadiScore will not appear in the user’s sleep details.
Troubleshooting a Missing ReadiScore
If you cannot see a user’s ReadiScore, consider the following possible causes before contacting Support:
Troubleshooting Missing ReadiScores:
If you’re unable to see a user’s ReadiScore, consider the following possible reasons before contacting support:
To generate a ReadiScore based on recorded data, the user must record at least three consecutive nights of sleep. If this requirement has not yet been met, it is normal for the ReadiScore not to appear. Wait until the required sleep data has been recorded.
If the issue continues, contact Support and include the checks performed and any relevant evidence, such as images or videos.
