Regularly checking the condition of your ReadiWatch is crucial for detecting any potential issues that could affect data capture. Here’s what to look for:

Check Sensors:

  • Ensure the sensors are clean and free from:

    • Scratches, chips, or broken parts.

    • Stains, mold, or water marks.

Check Battery:

  • Verify that the device charges properly.

    • Try different cables to discard a battery issue.

  • Ensure it turns on and off normally.

Note: Be careful not to let the magnets in the charger cables come into contact. When multiple cables are tangled together on a USB hub, the magnets tend to stick to each other, which can cause a short circuit, potentially damaging the USB hub port and the cables themselves.

Check for Physical Damage:

  • Look for signs of water damage.

  • Check for significant damage from impacts, such as smashing or dropping.

  • Inspect the screen for scratches or other damage.

  • Test the side button to ensure it functions correctly.

Check the Strap:

  • Make sure the strap allows you to securely adjust the device to your wrist.

Note: If you notice considerable damage to the device, this could likely be the cause of sensor issues or inaccurate readings. It’s important to educate users on how to properly care for their ReadiWatch to maintain its performance.
