Naming Your Sync Station in ReadiSync

Updated this week

When you sign in to the ReadiSync application for the first time on a new device, you automatically register a sync station. By default, the sync station will take the name of the mobile device (smartphone or tablet) used during sign-in.

How to View the Sync Station Name

  1. Open the ReadiSync app.

  2. Tap the Settings icon.

  3. Look for the Device name field — this is your sync station’s current name.

How to Change the Sync Station Name

To rename a sync station:

  • You must manage the Location where the registering user is currently located.

  • Once eligible:

    • Tap the Device name section in Settings.

    • Enter a new name (e.g., Main Lobby, Breakroom, etc.) that reflects where the sync station is being used.

Giving each station a clear name makes it easier to identify where syncs are happening across your site.

Where Sync Station Info Appears in the Readi Web Application

Once registered, sync stations are visible in both ReadiAnalytics and ReadiSupervise:

  • Go to Logs → Sync Stations.

  • For each station, you'll see:

    • Name

    • Location

    • ReadiSync Version

    • Last Sync (date & time)

    • Syncs Today

    • Syncs in the Last 7 Days

    • Signed-In User at last sync

Note: Each sync station appears under the Area of the user who registered it.
