Fatigue Alerts

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What are Fatigue Alerts?

Fatigue Alerts are push notifications designed to keep you aware of your fatigue risk throughout your workday. These alerts are based on your ReadiScore and help you take proactive steps to manage your productivity and safety.

How do Fatigue Alerts work?

Fatigue Alerts notify you when:

  • You are approaching a key fatigue threshold (e.g., 1 hour away from a ReadiScore of 70)

  • You have reached a specific ReadiScore (e.g., your ReadiScore is now 70)

What is the purpose of Fatigue Alerts?

Since lower ReadiScores indicate higher fatigue risk, these alerts serve as important reminders to take caution, such as:

  • Taking a break from high-risk or intensive tasks

  • Resting or recovering before starting or continuing work

  • Informing a supervisor if necessary

When are Fatigue Alerts sent?

Fatigue Alerts are only sent during your assigned work hours, including a buffer of 1 hour before and after your shift. For example, if your shift is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, alerts may be sent between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

How are Fatigue Alerts defined?

Fatigue Alerts are configured in ReadiAnalytics or ReadiSupervise. Additional Fatigue Alerts can be configured upon request by your organization.

By default, alerts are triggered at and approaching the following ReadiScore thresholds:

  • 80

  • 1 hour to 70

  • 70

  • 1 hour to 70

  • 60, and so on.

Prerequisites for receiving Fatigue Alerts

To receive Fatigue Alerts reliably on your mobile device and ReadiWatch, the following setup is required:

On your Mobile Device:

  • Notification permissions must be enabled for the ReadiOne app

  • Fatigue Alerts notifications must be enabled in the ReadiOne app settings

  • You must have a shift assigned in the system

On your ReadiWatch:

  • Do Not Disturb must be disabled

  • The Fatigue Alerts setting must be enabled on the watch

  • The device must not be in sleep mode, which may activate DND automatically

Fatigue Alerts in the ReadiOne application

On the Today page of the ReadiOne app, the Fatigue Alerts card displays any alerts that are queued for the upcoming shift, specifically for any shift starting within the next 6 hours.
