Organization and User Hierarchies

Updated this week

Readi is built to support organizations of all sizes by providing a flexible hierarchy of both organizational structure and user roles.

Organizational Structure

Readi's hierarchy includes Companies, Areas, Locations, Groups, and Users.

  • Companies

    • Areas

      • Locations

        • Groups

        • Users

Example

  • North America (Company)

    • Canada (Area)

      • British Columbia (Location)

        • User 1

        • User 2

      • Ontario (Location)

        • Toronto (Group)

          • User 1

        • Ottawa (Group)

          • User 1

    • United States (Area)

      • California (Location)

      • New York (Location)

User Roles and Permissions

There are three primary user roles in Readi, each with specific responsibilities and access rights:

Company Managers:

Company Managers are responsible for overseeing Readi usage across one or more Areas. Key permissions include:

  • Managing Areas and Locations within Areas they oversee

  • Creating and managing Location Managers

  • Managing ReadiBand Wearers (Regular Users)

  • Assigning access to specific Locations

Note: Managing an Area grants them access to all Locations within that Area. They may manage Areas across multiple Companies, but they always have access to their home Area. Cannot create other Company Managers.

Location Managers:

Location Managers oversee specific Locations. Key permissions include:

  • Manage Regular Users within their assigned Locations

  • Create new Regular Users

Note: Location Managers may be assigned to Locations across multiple Areas and Companies, but they always have access to their home Location. Cannot create Company Managers or other Location Managers.

ReadiBand Wearers (Regular Users)

Regular Users are individuals who have access only to their own sleep and ReadiScore data. They cannot view other users or organizational data.

Account Setup and Onboarding

To begin, the Fatigue Science team will create and invite Company Managers and Location Managers to activate their accounts. Once their accounts are activated, these managers will be able to self-manage their part of the organization, including:

  • Managing user access

  • Assigning users to locations or groups

  • Creating new Manager or Regular Users

  • Managing the organizational structure within their scope of access

Additional Notes

  • Creating New Locations: Depending on account permissions, Company Managers and Location Managers may be allowed to create new Locations.

  • Creating New Areas: Only Fatigue Science administrators can create new Areas.
