We've redesigned the mobile app, featuring a simplified and intuitive user interface on a modernized mobile application framework, enabling an array of performance, security, and usability improvements! Read on to learn more about these changes.

For reference, here is the Legacy (Sleep) Homepage:

Key Changes:

Today (Homepage) Interface

The default homepage for ReadiOne is now called Today instead of Sleep. The redesigned Today page serves as a central touchpoint where you may easily access ReadiOne's core features.

In the legacy version, the settings page was tucked away in the More tab in the bottom navigation bar. We've reintroduced settings, a key user touchpoint, directly in the top right corner of the Today homepage. This will allow you to access the various configurable tools in settings in a pinch. Note that the settings page has also been redesigned to incorporate the following options:

Sleep Comparison Indicators

In the legacy version, once you have several sleeps recorded, you'll see a comparison to your personal average and indicator arrows (see above - green or red arrows) comparing the previous sleep to your most recent. We've removed the indicator arrows and have steered focus on your ReadiScore curve - your predicted level of fatigue risk changes throughout the day. The homepage (Today tab) now showcases what was shown in the legacy version's Risk tab.

Last Recorded Sleep UI

Furthermore, the legacy sleep history snapshot is now simplified and collapsed by default. Situated at the top of the homepage (Today tab) above your ReadiScore curve, this collapsable bar shows your last recorded sleep. Expanding the bar allows you to view more details about the sleep, such as your time in bed, sleep efficiency, and sleep disruptions over the course of your sleep window. You may also edit the recorded sleep manually whether the bar is collapsed or expanded by tapping on the edit "pencil" icon.

The Sleep History page is also accessed at the top right corner in the redesigned version, by tapping on the clock icon in the top right corner.

Additionally, the ability to add manual sleep got easier. Also in the top right corner of the Today page, you can tap on the "Add" button to quickly add recorded sleeps for those nights you may have missed using a paired sleep device. Note that there is also the option to add sleep in the top right corner of the sleep history page. In the legacy version, users had to click into the Sleep History page before finding the "Add" button to begin creating manual sleeps.

Visualization tools for Work Schedules and Fatigue Alerts

New visualization tools have been added in the Today page as well. Based on your sleep actigraphy and forecasted ReadiScores, Fatigue Alerts enable you to track your risk of fatigue for your upcoming shift within the next 6 hours. Situated at the top of the Today page when applicable, Fatigue Alerts show an hour-by-hour personalized fatigue risk levels for your upcoming shift. Tap the bell icon at the top right corner of the box to enable notifications for these alerts to be sent on your phone.

Another visualization tool we've added is the ability to see upcoming schedules in the main page. The My Shifts tab appears at the bottom of the Today page when applicable. Tapping into this box brings you to a page that compiles your list of upcoming shifts with valuable descriptors about them, including duration, shift type, and date.

Support for No-Wearable Workflows
Using Readi's machine learning algorithm, we now allow users to visualize their forecasted ReadiScores whether a wearable solution was used or not to capture sleep. At a high-level, ReadiOne can estimate sleep based on available schedules for the user, paired with answers from questionnaires and demographics to create a distinct sleep profile. This allows for support to estimate sleep gaps where a wearable was not used. Additionally, it includes the case where a wearable solution was non-compliant in capturing sleep actigraphy, whereby our machine learning model can supplement these cases to forecast a ReadiScore.

In the top right corner of the ReadiScore chart, you can also see the source of the ReadiScore prediction. Three sources are possible: Score based on Wearable Data, Readi Machine Learning (ReadiML), or from manual sleep input.

Improved ReadiWatch synchronization reliability and performance

In the top left corner of the homepage, we've added an indicator to support ReadiWatch synchronization reliability. There is the option to toggle on Background sync so that the user's ReadiWatch data can automatically sync once per day in the background to keep actigraphy data up to date. When automatic syncing is turned off, Readi app will attempt syncing when the app is re-opened, similar to the previous version.

Support for authentication via SSO/IdP

In order to support user SSO solutions, we've relaunched ReadiOne so that it supports all kinds of SSO providers (Okta, Azure, LastPass, etc.), allowing users to authenticate themselves seamlessly in our application using these third-party authenticators. With these functionalities implemented securely in our platform, users have an added layer of security to their account and a reliable way to recover their account when necessary.
