This chart will indicate what percent of time on duty is spent in the high risk fatigued state, as compared to the targeted fatigue level. High risk fatigue is considered to be a ReadiScore below 70. The targeted fatigue level is auto-calculated from applicable schedules.

To generate an "Actual vs. Target" chart:

  1. Click on Historical on the left-hand bar, and then choose one of Snapshot, Trends, Compare or Concentration.

  2. In the Chart drop down menu, choose "Actual vs. Target", then choose your location, group, shift and date selection.

  3. Click the SUBMIT button.

Snapshot - Actual vs. Target chart

Selecting "Snapshot" on the left hand side bar under "Historical" allows you to see a snapshot of the average actual and targeted amount of time on duty spent fatigued for a given selection of shifts, locations and groups.

  • The historical average of amount of time (%) spent fatigued (70 or below) on a shift is indicated by the red vertical bar on the left. This number can be compared to the amount of time (%) targeted to be spent fatigued on a shift indicated by the grey on the right.

  • If the red bar is lower than the grey bar, there is less time (%) spent fatigued on the shift than targeted.

  • If the red bar is higher than the grey bar, or the grey bar is not visible due to being set to 0%, then the actual time spent fatigued on a shift is higher than targeted.

  • Checking the "Show Variance" box displays the chart so that the difference between the targeted and actual fatigue for each shift is highlighted.

  • The solid black line indicates the actual time on duty (%) spent fatigued.

  • The dotted grey line indicates the targeted amount of time on duty (%) that is acceptable to be spent fatigued.

  • If the actual fatigue is higher than the targeted, meaning operators are more fatigued than was targeted while on duty, the difference is highlighted in red and if the actual fatigue is lower than the targeted, the difference is highlighted in green.

Trends - Actual vs. Target chart

Selecting "Trends" in the left hand side bar under "Historical" allows you to see trends over time of actual and targeted fatigue levels.

  1. Daily chart displays the percent of time on duty spent fatigued compared to the targeted fatigue per day over a custom date range, while choosing "Weekly" will display the average for each week of the selected shift(s).

  2. The actual amount of time (%) spent fatigued is indicated by the black solid line compared to the targeted amount indicated by the dotted grey line.

  3. If the actual amount is higher than the targeted amount of fatigue for the schedule on that day, the difference is highlighted in red.

  4. If the actual amount is lower than the targeted amount of fatigue for the schedule on that day, the difference is highlighted in green.

Compare - Actual vs. Target chart

Selecting "Compare" in the left side bar under "Historical" allows you to compare the actual and targeted fatigue between different groups and locations.

  • The x-axis displays either the name of the location or if two lines, it displays the name of the group in black with the name of the location below in grey.

  • Similarly, the data can be viewed with actual and targeted fatigued displayed side-by-side for each group or location, or by checking the "Show Variance" box to display the difference between them in either red or green.

Concentration - Actual vs. Target chart

Selecting "Concentration" in the left hand side bar under "Historical" allows you to see individual data for the actual and targeted amount of time (%) spent fatigued on duty.
